Yesterday, Mark Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO of Facebook released an epic video of his very own AI personal assistant Jarvis.
At the beginning of 2016 Zuckerberg announced that he is planning a year-long project coding an Iron Man like Jarvis AI assistant.
The official purpose of this project was the Mark wanted to test where AI is at in 2016.
Also, he is the founder of Facebook, so he can pretty much do whatever he wants. Oh, and if it succeeds, it will be badass.
Now, that it’s the end of 2016, Zuckerberg has started sharing his experience and results from his year long project.
But getting to the fun part – here’s a video he created demonstrating his VA’s capabilities. (Watch this with audio on. Trust me).

Well apparently, if you’re using Google Calendar and own an Amazon Echo, you can do it.

Know your room temperature
Want to get a quick brief of your room temperature and even control it without getting out of bed? It’s super simple – no special effects needed.
All you need is a combination of an Amazon Echo or Dot, a Nest thermostat and an IFTTT.com account.
Follow these IFTTT.com receipts to tell Alexa to set your room temperature, schedule A/C times and more.
By the way, if you want to make it even easier, you can buy a Honeywell Lyric T5 Thermostat and simply use Siri to get the information you need.

While how Mark got the toast into the toaster in the first place remains a mystery, ‘smartifying’ your toaster is a rather simple thing to do.

The process is quite similar to the Smart Toaster, only instead of a toaster, you’ll need to connect a T-shirt Cannon.

Apparently, you’re not the only one. There’s an easy fix for that using Ring and Kevo Smart Lock.
‘Ring’ is a combination of a wide range HD camera that connects to your phone, so you can see who’s at your door or in front of your house at any moment.
Using Kevo Smart Lock you can unlock your door straight from your phone, or even give your guest access to unlock it themselves that just one time.

If you own an Amazon Echo and an Amazon Music or a Spotify account, you just have to insert your credentials in your Alexa app settings and ask your Echo to play your favorite music
If you’re using Apple Music, just make sure your iPhone is connected to your Alexa device via Bluetooth, and simply ask Siri for the tune you want to listen too.

Movie Time
Impressive as it may seem, this one is rather easy.
Here’s what you need:

All you have to do is connect your smart devices to Apple’s homekit app. (here a guide to help you setup Apple’s Homekit). Now you can easily control your Apple TV and lights from your iPhone.
But we want to do it all in one action, right? This is where a cool Homekit features called ‘Scenes’ kick in.
‘Scenes’ is a setting you pre-created into a shortcut on your Homekit app.
So for movie time you might create a scene called “Movie time’ that involves two simultaneous triggers: Dim lights and Turn on Tv. Here’s to set it up, step by step.
Just one click and your house are in the right theater mode. By the way. If you want to save clicks, you can also ask Siri to do it for you.
